The Family Junction is the space meant for music. With the release of Pasta Bar, Family Junction shocked friends and fans with this collaborative debut album written and recorded in a beach house during the summer of 2004. Family Junction treats the recording studio, just like they do the stage, as a medium for coming together and expressing various musical styles. With Pasta Bar, Family Junction creates a unique sound blending everything from funk to folk, rock to blues, and jazz to jam in an instrument swapping frenzy.
Alan Cohen (guitar/bass/vocals), Dan Levine (guitar/drums/vocals), Matt Ross (guitar/bass/drums), Ryan Pressman (guitar/bass/drums), and Seth Kroll (lyricist) went one step further with this album and produced their first video short, "Milk & Honey", which is included on the data section of the CD and is viewable on any computer with a CD drive.
