Bajuco - "Kosher Salsa"
Formed in the Fall of 2003, Bajuco is a 'world-jazz' quartet. Functioning as a composer's collective, the following Boston-based musicians comprise this quirky ensemble: Todd Marston (accordion/melodica), Tev Stevig (guitar/tambura), Jordan Scannella (upright bass), Mike Daillak (percussion). Boston-based pianist/singer/songwriter Steve Mossberg likes to take in all kinds of music from jazz and rock, to hip-hop, to 20th century Russian composers, and let them simmer in his cranial kitchen. He then spits out slow-cooked tunes which don't sound particularly like any of the above.
